Here at Community Rebuilds, we saw a need in Moab for a way to save and reuse home and construction materials. Community Rebuilds’ mission is to build energy-efficient housing, provide education on sustainability, and improve the housing conditions of the workforce through an affordable program. As builders and educators, we want to teach about the reality of building related waste and provide a resource for a sustainable solution!

We now run an architectural salvage “Restore”, with the purpose of reclaiming items that would otherwise go into the waste stream, increasing the affordability of our homes, providing low cost and unique materials to our community, and fundraising for our programs. Last year, we found a new home for hundreds of items that would have otherwise found their way into the landfill! We are excited to be opening up the Community Rebuilds Restore to the public for another season!

Do you like yard sales? Do you want to help protect the environment? Join us for our Pop-up Mini Restore sales and our Huge Restore sale on Earth Day to celebrate and support the reuse of all things home and building! During our big event, peruse and purchase gently used or new constructions materials, furniture, various home goods, and light refreshments while learning about our program! You won’t want to miss the biggest sale of the year! Also, interested in designing your own CR style home or ADU? We heard you when you said - “We want a Community Rebuilds style home!” Stop into our office to chat with our design team about new opportunities to purchase home plans or consulting services - design services courtesy of the Moab County Star Grant!
