Moab Farmers' MarketThe 2010 MOAB FARMERS’ MARKET brings more fresh food to the community than ever before! The market is becoming a one-stop shop including locally produced fruit, vegetables, herbs, cheese and yogurt, locally butchered meats, Moab fisherman caught salmon, Navajo fry bread, fresh baked breads, tortillas, empanadas and other bakery treats, local honey, jams, garlic, fresh cut flowers, potted plants, cupcakes, farm fresh eggs, pumpkins, compost, on occasion wood fired pizza and ice cream! Moab Coffee Roasters supplys fresh roasted and hot coffee for the Market.

If you haven’t visited the Farmers’ Market this year you have 4 more Saturdays in beautiful October weather to venture out to Swanny City Park located at 100 West and 400 North, from 8:00AM to Noon. Bring your shopping bags! The market includes a huge variety of local Arts and Crafts vendors making and selling many indispensable hand-crafted items and offering special services: wood products, rocks, gems and jewelry, photography, paintings and greeting cards, hand-knit hats, candles and soaps, tie-dye and hand-dyed clothing, herbal medicinals, all blades and knife-sharpening service, straw hats and bags, ceramics, leatherworks, wood furniture, glass objects, hand-made wallets and hula-hoops.

Moab Farmers' MarketCommunity Non-profit organizations, political candidates, and government agencies are finding the Farmers’ Market a thriving place to give information freely. Local musicians play their fare and children’s story time presented by the Grand County Public Library is on October 16th at 10:30 AM.

First Ever National Non-GMO Month!

Non-GMOOctober is a time to celebrate a consumers’ right to choose non-genetically modified foods and to raise awareness about genetically modified organisms(GMO)s*.

Moonflower Market will be providing educational materials and promotions of ‘Non-GMO Project Verified’** foods.

Moonflower Market and Youth Garden Project will also be sponsoring a film screening of FOOD, INC a documentary that reveals the ‘shocking’ truth about what we eat.
