Healing and The Human Energy Field

David “Spark” Livermore was a well-known windsurfing instructor in Hood River, OR, when post surgical health issues arising from a knee reconstruction in 1991 led him to attend the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. It was a life changing experience. “I really had no idea what I was getting myself into.”, says Spark Livermore, “In those days I thought that energy was what I needed more of to get me through 10 hour days of teaching windsurfing in 40 mph winds on the Columbia river.”.

In graduating from the four year Professional Studies program of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and satisfying the additional requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree, he completed an intensive study and practice of personal transformation, energy awareness and high sense perception, hands-on healing techniques, anatomy & physiology, professional practice, creative arts, integrative care, and awareness of the connections between mind, body, emotions and spirit.

The Human Energy Field is the manifestation of the universal energy, usually called the “aura”, that is intimately involved with human life. It can be described as a luminous body that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body and emits its own characteristic radiation. The Human Energy Field is a quantum leap deeper into our personality than our physical body and it is the vehicle for all psychosomatic reactions.

The physical body arises out of the energy field, thus an imbalance or distortion in this field will eventually cause a disease in the physical body that it governs. Therefore, healing distortions in the field will bring about healing in the physical body.

In the broader context of community and world service, I apply my knowledge and training in support of the evolution of the human spirit."
