Bliss Skin & Body Works is changing names and moving locations!!! Due to the added services to the menu, the name is now Bliss Hair, Skin & Body Works. It is located at 1105 South Hwy. 191 Suite 4A, inside the same building as Bruce Wharton. We are very excited to welcome Logan Brewer, formerly of the Beauti Terrace, to the staff. She will be adding hair and nail services to the menu. Logan finished her training in the summer of 2006 and returned to Moab. She is trained in a variety of services, and is extremely talented at acrylic sculpture nails, hair dressing, and wedding up-do’s and makeup.

One of the most exciting new features at Bliss is the side by side pipeless jetted pedicure chairs. These throne style chairs are unique in that they are the only jetted pedicure chairs on the market that are 100% sanitizable. This in the world of nail care is a major factor in helping to not spread nail disease through salons. These wonderful units also feature a built in shiatsu roller massage and vibration plus manicure trays on the sides for the ultimate day of pampering. We will also be adding more to our retail boutique including mineral makeup, hair products, and nail care.

It’s November and guess what that means? Never mind the cold, wind and rain. What about what happens to our skin and bodies during the fall and winter months? Our skin dries out and our bodies ache from the cold.

Winter is a great time to do a lot of face and body treatments. Whether you are looking for something to pamper yourself or someone you love, Bliss Skin and Body Works has something for everyone. We have many spa type treatments available to suit your needs. We offer over eight different types of facials including a deep exfoliating treatment called microdermabrasion. Our European facial is our most relaxing, luxurious and most popular facial that we offer. It’s an hour long treatment that includes facial cleansing, enzymatic exfoliation, a customized facial mask, toner and moisturizer. This treatment is the ultimate pampering experience. Also, we now offer a steam canopy which allows us to do more types of body treatments that include full body steaming. We also offer all types of body waxing for hair removal. If you have ever been interested in waxing now is the time to try it. Letting the hair fully grow during the winter and getting a couple of waxing sessions in before the spring and summer season is the best way to get into the waxing cycle. Maybe you could use a little foot pampering. Everyone knows our feet get forgotten during the winter months. Pedicures aren’t just for the summer, a nice relaxing foot treatment is just what your feet need to help increase circulation and combat the dry winter months.

While you are visiting us at Bliss, why not get a gift certificate for someone on your Christmas list? Gift Certificates are a perfect way to introduce someone to the art of pampering. You can buy our gift certificates for a specific service or for a money amount. Either way the recipient will be able to use it to their discretion. Our Gift Certificates are packaged beautifully in a pillow box and wrapped with ribbon.
Our boutique has lots of unique hair, nail, bath and body products. We also have gift baskets available for purchase. We can either customize a basket for you or you can buy one of our pre-made baskets. They make a nice addition to a gift certificate. Call or stop buy and purchase either a gift certificate or gift basket this Christmas. We will also deliver any purchase to you.

It’s also part planning season, and if you’re tired of the same old holiday parties, consider throwing a spa party. We will come to your location with all the amenities to host a spa party.
