My
life is pretty basic nothing amazing about ole me, After
the mission in New Jersey (88-90), a US Marine (Field
Radio Operator) I served in Japan,Thailand, Norway and
North Carolina (91-95). From 95 to 98 I wandered around
in obscurity. In November 98 I got on stage (and did
Stand up comedy) for the first time in Kansas City. It
has been puppies, ice cream and rainbows ever since.
I was the house MC for Wiseguys Comedy Club in West Valley
City, UT from Jan 01 to Aug 05. I have worked with Bobcat
Goldthwait, Jimmy Walker, Dave Attell, Carlos Mencia,
Louis Anderson, Pauly Shore, Mitch Hedburg, Emo Phillips
and many more. I almost got a philosophy degree (Utah
Valley State College, 2001-2005, and should I ever actually
finish my final paper I just might get the cherished
parchment). I have been an extra in a couple of movies.
Two Time National Champion in Public Speaking for Skills
USA. I can bench twice my own body weight. and recently
the Winner 2007 Rhode Island Comedy Festival. Just your
average old dude. And did I mention humble, very humble.
In fact I would say I am the most humble of the humble.
I take alot of pride in my Humility. At thirty seven
I still have my hair and original teeth. Married Theressa
Evans From Lehi, UT Sept 11th 1992. We have 5 children.
We currently live in Connecticut.
Marcus,
one of the fastest rising talents in comedy today, combines
a rock n’ roll energy and attitude with dead-on impressions
to create a show experience that literally has to be seen
to be believed.
Marcus,
also known as “The Man of 1000 Voices” has
been doing impressions since before he was a teen, and
has amassed an arsenal of impressions that rivals some
of the biggest names out there! He got his professional
start in radio, doing interveiws as celebrities, first
for local radio shows, then moving on to radio stations
nationwide. In addition to radio station interviews,
Marcus has voiced hundreds of radio and television ads.
He got his start after meeting comedians when they would
come in to radio stations to be interviewed. He was coaxed
into taking his in studio routine to the stage. After meeting
with the owner of the local comedy club, he finally got his
first 5 minutes...and he was hooked.
He has since skyrocketed, becoming one of the most in-demand
comedians around. He has released two full-length comedy
special DVDs, 2006’s “Now Who’s Laughing?” and
his brand new release, 2007’s “Taking Aim”.
He can also be seen on Comcast as the host of the live music
showcase “Stage Sessions” and KJZZ as a weekly
contributor to “B ALL Over TV”.
Marcus unique style and incredible talent has earned him
a devoted following, one that you are sure to join once you
see his show! This is one show you do not want to miss!
