As the sunlight returns, nature springs back to life and Moab springs back into action! Like migrating birds, desert lovers are flocking here in numbers to enjoy the canyon country on foot or on wheels before summer’s heat sets in. Energy and adrenaline build as runners and cyclists are drawn to the several racing events being held here in March. It’s an ideal time to be here, especially for high-energy athletic endeavors.

Gallery Moab member artists have likewise been limbering up and stretching their creative muscles to meet the challenge of capturing this energetic vibe for this month’s show, entitled “Spring Into Action.” Stepping out of our comfort zones, some of us are pushing ourselves to incorporate people and their outdoors recreational activities into our landscapes, while others are experimenting with different mediums and styles, just for fun and to see what happens. Come join us to see the new and surprising results at a reception at the gallery on Thursday, March 9th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. And remember to “Spring Ahead” Sunday, March 12, when the switch to Mountain Daylight Savings time happens.
