Duck into Gallery Moab, an artist-owned and operated cooperative gallery featuring a colorful diversity of original fine art and artisan crafts hand made by local artists. Soak up the color and creativity of our artists, who work in various mediums and styles ranging from realistic to abstract. New and intriguing works regularly appear on our walls, and different artists are in the spotlight each month.

Chrissy Noel Kinslow, a.k.a. TheArtistCNK, is our July Guest Artist. A true free spirit whose works express an unbridled imagination and sense of color, she describes her creations as “miniature to momentous, tiny to tremendous, so much color you will become ravenous.” Why does she create? She rhymes “Art nourishes my soul, that is why I do. I have more than plenty to share with you …” So if you love color and surprising, edgy, unconventional art, come check out her work at Gallery Moab this month.

Our Featured Gallery Artist is Charlotte Quigley. She skillfully captures the glowing color of the desert landscape in both pastel and watercolor. She says “The process of creating works of art is just as enjoyable and important to me as the final product. I’m always learning and growing through the process of creating watercolors and pastels. The watercolor medium has been a favorite since I was very young, and I have taken many classes throughout the years. Because art has always been a deep interest, I received an M.A.in art history, worked in two art museums, served as the director of two arts councils, and taught art in an elementary school in New Mexico. In Moab, I have been teaching in a regular classroom (currently third grade) and try to incorporate art into the curriculum when I can. I feel so fortunate to be in such a beautiful place, where there are so many amazing subjects so close at hand.”

With the easing of Covid protocols, masks are now optional indoors, but we ask that you respect the choices and personal space of others by avoiding crowding inside the gallery.
