Moab Student Artwork Featured at Dead Horse Point State Park

Moab students from Helen M. Knight Elementary School are currently exhibiting their artwork in the Bighorn Gallery at Dead Horse Point State Park through February 28th, 2013. The artists will be offering instruction in art techniques during the official show opening on Saturday, January 12th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The exhibit, entitled “Art is Elementary!” is a collection of bright, colorful paintings, drawings and wire sculptures, inspired by the Moab landscape and the active lifestyles of the artists. Come view the creative works of Moab’s young artists!

 

 


 

 

 

Dead Horse Point State Park is located nine miles north of Moab on US 191,
and 23 miles south on SR 313.
The visitor center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Park admission is $10.
